Early Years Education Diploma (VSB)

UBC's Institute for Early Childhood Education & Research (IECER) is offering the Early Years Education Diploma program in collaboration with the Vancouver School Board.
Core Course - ECED 405A
This is a core course across all ECE certificates and the EYE Diploma at UBC and will be a great beginning point for the Diploma program being offered in Vancouver (VSB).

EYED Diploma
The UBC Diploma in Early Years Education (EYED) program is comprised of ten 400 level courses (30 credits). The majority of the courses in this Diploma are Early Childhood Education (ECED) courses, however, the program allows for students to incorporate elective courses in related fields, such as early literacy and numeracy, special education, drama, music, etc.

+Application Process
Application Deadline: July 30, 2011.
Admission to the UBC Diploma in EYE is open to all applicants who hold an acceptable Bachelor of Education degree from a recognized university.
- Applicants new to UBC must complete an Application for Admission Form and provide official transcripts of all previous post-secondary studies.
- Previous UBC students need to submit a Re-admission Form in order to activate their eligibility to register.

+Tuition
Tuition is assessed per course, with most courses being 3-credits. Refer to UBC Tuition per-credit amount for Education, located at the bottom of the page.
